Inspired by Capoeira and Japanese dojos we were eager to show that stretch and flexibility is no longer reserved for female denim wearers. To the contrary of what most people believe, skinny jeans can provide just as much, if not even more, freedom of movement than your typical old school baggy jeans. In True Mardou&Dean fashion we are hoping that the viewer is left with a feeling of “wish-I-were-there”. Movie maker’s Daniel McStay and Kavar Singh from McSINGH FILM has directed and produced “Dancing in the Dark”, Mardou&Dean´s second commercial short film, as well as the previous “The Mardou&Dean’s”

The Spring/Summer 2010 collection will be sold exclusively at super cool, London based, denim store Donna Ida, located in Chelasea, Belgravia and Westfield. Donna Ida is the brainchild of self-confessed denim devotee and lifelong jeans addict Donna Ida Thornton. This April Donna Ida was picked out as one of Britain's Best Boutiques by Vogue UK.
