Presents: -The Denim Bag Journey-

'In 2010 the girls Cala and Jade asked Mardou and Dean to join them travelling. The destination was Oslo. In their travel kits they had old fashioned denim and the finest leathers. On their way to Oslo they met Italian craftsmen, Norwegian salesmen and picked up inspiration and help from other creatives. The result of the journey is the perfect travel companion; a handcrafted bag of denim and leather. Each bag is unique because of its natural materials and customized details. They hope that ‘The Denim Bag Journey’ doesn’t end here but will continue with you.'

-The Denim Bag Journey- is a limited edition denim and leather bag collection for Autumn/Winter 2011 which we have made in collaboration with Norwegian leather bag label Cala&Jade. A selection of the bags are shown below featured by 6 creatives from Oslo, photographed by Patrick Katzman.

Yesterday we had the launch party for our new project ' The Denim Bag Journey'. A projet and limited edition collection in collacoration with the super cool Norwegian bag makers Cala&Jade. See the video from the party below

Souterrain: from french 'sous terrain', meaning 'under ground'.

This spring Mardou&Dean officially launches Mardou&Dean Souterrain.

Mardou&Dean Souterrain is a parallel line to the denim line building upon the idea of creating a complete wardrobe for both men and women. The line will include unique, tailored pieces of the finest fabrics and leathers as well as simple everyday wear.

The debut collection consists of sharp silhouettes, sculpturing applications, lingerie details and hand-dyed and customized fabrics. Pictures to come soon.

The first season Mardou&Dean Souterrain will just be available upon order.

Mardou&Dean launched "jeans by Mardou&Dean - Limited Edition '09" earlier this year. The photo shoot 'Ripped and Cooked' took place in Oslo a sunny morning in May, featuring Graphic Designer and model Trude in some selected pieces from the collection.
