It first saw daylight in 1970 created for the sole purpose of giving professional deep sea divers an instrument to rely on in the most extreme of conditions, down to depths of 600 meters. World famous French diver Jacques Cousteau has, together with many other divers around the world, used this piece of equipment as their only reference for dive time calculations in a time when dive computers were still not invented.
